Phase 1 - Information Gathering:
In this first phase we gather information on the goals and purpose of your business. We develop your target audience, and the content that your target audience is looking for on your website.
Phase 2 - Planning:
After the first phase we design a plan for your website, and develop a site map. We also help you decide what other programming languages (see programming languages question), that needs to be developed for your website, such as newsletters, contact forms, javascript, etc.
Phase 3 - Design & Development:
At this stage we start to design the look and feel of your website. We create the coding and develop the website. You will receive prototypes of your website either in an image format or rough web page designs. From those designs A.R.N. Designs will make the requested adjustments for each page.
Phase 4 - Testing & Delivery:
Once the website nears completion, we test the performance of your website across multiple browsers and devices. We also optimize your website for faster loading on all devices. Once the testing phase is complete, we transfer all your website files to your hosting provider, which means that your website is live!
Phase 5: Maintenance:
After your website is complete, you may need to update information on your website to bring in new customers. A.R.N, Designs will be more than happy to continue working with you to update or add any new content. We offer a maintenance service package option to all our service plans. Content in a website includes:
Graphics: images such as logos, your business logo, photos that you have taken, stock images, etc.
Text: information about your business, lists, reviews, anything that you want your customers to learn about of your company.

HTML
The basis of all web sites.
CSS
Creates the visual look presented in html documents. It's the style, color, size, etc of text and other elements on your page.
JS - Javascript
Enhances the user experience and functionality of a web site. Transitional effects like fade in or out. Frameworks such as JQuery are used with javascript for different interactions.
PHP
A server side scripting language for producing dynamic web pages. Can be embedded in html pages, It is also used for collecting contact form data for email, create a username and password login page, encrypt data, and it supports wide ranges of databases.
Databases
A collection of data similar to an excel spreadsheet, that is used by MYSQL and other programs to store information like names, emails, passwords, etc. Databases allow you to save information about your users and is used with PHP to store information from newsletters, contact forms, etc.
A.R.N. Designs follows a process called milestones. Milestones vary from project to project. Large projects require more milestones while smaller projects may only require a handful. The standard milestones we follow are a three to four phase process based on the project size..

Site maintenance is an optional service that allows A.R.N. Designs to update your website with new content that you provide.

At A.R.N. Designs, our payment process follows a milestone phase. During each completion of the phase you will receive an invoice that must be payed within the allotted time frame expressed in your Web Design Proposal & Contract documents.
You will receive invoices for each completion of the milestone phases. Each invoice will have options on how to submit your payments, and all payments go through a secure process through paypal (fees apply) or through your bank by their security procedures.
Paypal, Banking Account Transfers, Checks, or Stripe Payments.
Any payment processing fees are dependent upon which process you choose, for example, Paypal charges (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the U.S), Stripe Payments (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). All fees will be made aware to the client before payment is collected.
We charge a fixed price for the Project Evaluation document. This charge ensures our complete commitment to the client and lets us know that the client is interested in our services.
Partial payments are not accepted. Payments are broken down into smaller payments based on each milestone phase completion. You must pay the entire amount on any given invoice within the allotted time frame.
If you have selected the optional add-on plan, your maintenance fee will be $100 covering any maintenance for one year. If you change your mind and would like to add this service, we will gladly add this service to your package plan during or after the completion of your website.
